BORDEAUX MECENES SOLIDAIRES

Bordeaux Mécènes Solidaire is a community foundation that finances and assists associations in their projects of social integration, professional integration, digital inclusion and social innovation.

Created at the end of 2012 by local players, Bordeaux Mécènes Solidaires' mission is to raise private funds, especially from companies to finance local social action.
Every year, BMS supports some forty community projects in Gironde (France) which are selected by a committee of 12 qualified individuals from the public, the private sector and civil society.
Our annual budget is 400,000 euros. The focus is first on employability with 30% of the budget. The intervention axes of social integration, digital inclusion, youth, housing and the fight against poverty share equally the rest of the budget.
